If you mean to operate with his call you must know this.
The last time who someone was operated from his shack was a DL man as i
know. The Holy Council learned it and told to Monk Apollo that is illegal
and not to do it again because they will get his license back. So neither
 this can be done.

As you know, Mount Athos belongs to
Greece and i don't like that there is a place in my country that i can not
go to operate. But i am trying to understand that there are some reasons for
this and i must respect it.

It seems to me that Mt. Athos belongs not to Greece but to the Holy
Council. I guess we'll have to live with it.

We could still send him a radio, though, couldn't we?

RE: [DX-NEWS] (Fwd) AH3D log search now up and running

Yes, but it took longer than 30-90 seconds. More like about 5 minutes.

As promised subscribers of The Daily DX and The Weekly DX are the
first to know and try out the AH3D log search. I would personally
like to thank N4GN, Tim, for helping out with this process.

In order to check the AH3D log search you must do the following.

 1. Send an e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
 2. Subject: Call - only one call per subject line
 3. body of message should be blank.
 4. Send e-mail message

The process takes about 30-90 seconds.

I don't hear it now but it's much later than your post (0436Z, 15 Jan).

Your description sounds a little like what we've dubbed the Chicken

bwuk bwawk. Did it sound like that?

Hi Karl-Heinz,

Baldur's operation in late 1993 was valid. Most of the operations since
then are not. I'm not sure about the latest one from there.

Good question! I know they have been doing that for years - every time

Hmm ... I'm wondering what band and mode.

Several years back, there was a notorious Slim who plagued 40 and 30
meters on CW. He/she/it used the calls ZL8BX (Bob), ZL9RV (Louis - YL
on Cambell (sic) Island), VR8B (Yvonne on Ducie Island) and a few
others I don't remember at the moment. Noticeable common operating
pattern of all of the above was liking to ragchew a bit with each person
worked, and often working stations which were not within propagation of
the Pacific at that time. My guess is it was someone in VK/ZL land having
their fun with these made-up calls.

Does that look familiar? Is this infamous person back at it?
