Hi!

My experience with direct-QSLs to East Europe is, that many letters with included IRC's or $ were stolen. Seems, too many people on the route need the money...

Why we dont't use our bureaus? Many of the needed cards came back via bureau, e.g. UN3G, UN7QX, UT5JDS / JAJ, UT3LA, EM5U, UT0AZA, also VK4ABW,
JH, FNQ, ZS6'ers, S92DX, Z21FO or PY's (all 6m).

BTW, within the last months I got beautiful bureau(!)-cards for HF-contacts from VP6BR, CE0Y (via UA6AF), 4S7TWG, FT5ZJ, 8J1RL, KH0/JA1DD, V26K, 3C1AG, E4/G3WQU, YK9A, ZD7VJ, J3A, HC8N, H40AA, H44DX, 9G5VJ, a.s.o. - mostly rare calls. You know most of them. I think, within the last years many of us forgot that we have excellent working QSL-bureaus/-manager in most parts of the world. Save Your money!

Of course, if somebody needs the card for his next DXCC-entry, he have no time to wait...
