@Doug: what you describe is weird. I don't see the issue here (tried on

this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #962581, so is being marked as such.
This does happend daily for me in 14.04. It's when i use the workspaces
switcher preview thing and it's seems to come at random but most often
when I'm moving a windows to another workspace.

Unfortunately the bustle log just shows that the home scope doesn't
query the applications scope, but it's not known why. It would be useful
if bustle was run earlier, so the initial query (and reason it
presumably? failed) to the applications scope would be visible.

If you mean before the very first query, I don't know when the problem's
going to happen (have no reproduction recipe), so unless I just run it
at every session startup we're not going to catch this state.

This happened to me too a couple of times. The first lockscreen accepted
my password, let me in for a second and then the lockscreen was
presented again and from that prompt my password leaked to application
with focus behind the locker. I removed light-locker package and didn't
see the problem

Indeed, the restart option disappears spontaneously after a while. I observe
this on my Ubuntu 14.04 amd64 with all updates installed.
