Is anyone working on this or can one help you with this?
Can you provide some link to the files which to be fixed.
At the moment I can only switch off my phone if I am in an environment,
in which my phone should be muted.

15.04 was released with this newly introduced bug. Is there any hope this will
be fixed in the stable version, should I better upgrade to 15.10?
Is nobody else using a scaling factor? How can this bug be either a) unnoticed,
b) ignored or c) noticed but not relevant? Are there no quality

The branches attached solve this for me. I hope somebody from upstart
team can review them.
I'll try to put a ppa out with that patch in, such that other users that
are affected can also test this.
I expect to SRU this change to all stable releases.

It seems that, dbus-deamon has received a poweroff meesage then it fork the
systemd-shim to shutdown the system, here's the backtrace for systemd-shim . we
can see that ,dbus-daemon --system --fork leverage systemd-shim to perform the
poweroff.
however, who sends the poweroff
I've noticed this also, but it appears to be more prominent for me (with
Gtk3 apps).
E.g., with gtk3-widget-factory there will be no background.

I found out that this bug was due to me removing the touchpad kernel
module on suspend. I did that to work around an issue with the kernel
module not powering on the touchpad always. This probably caused the
input dialog to loose focus. So, this is necessarily a bug.

I see people saying that this is fixed in Unity 7?
I am using Unity 7.2.4 in trusty and it's definitely not fixed.
In fact, it has been a problem for such a long time that I'm perfectly
confident it will never be fixed.
