After some more research, trying to force indicator-session to work with
what is in Unity 8 is probably not the best solution. I think a better
solution is wrap the org.gnome.SessionManager.EndSessionDialog object
withing the com.canonical.Unity bus. This way we don't have to hack

indicator-session getting confused about which Unity is running.
indicator-session is detecting Unity is running. It assumes then that
gnome-session is running and tries to make some DBus calls to it.

So, although I don't completely agree with the new vertical scrolling
behavior in the Switcher, I don't think we should block the SRU on this
since this is how Utopic now behaves. I think I will enter a new bug
report about the behavior not being quite what is expected and then
flesh that out.
Oh, I did verify the horizontal scrolling now works as expected, which
is the bigger issue here.

Compiz is *not* part of the kernel. Compiz is deciding your hardware
doesn't support 3D because there is an issue in the video driver which
is failing the loading of OpenGL (the 3D). This is strictly an issue
with the video driver in the kernel and is causing Compiz to fail.

installed apps show up in the Launcher using the icon intended for the
app. For example, I use Quicken Deluxe 2014 w/ Crossover and the

Wow, you have really had to jump through some hoops for this:)
At any rate, does this issue still occur on latest 14.04? It does sound
like a Unity/Compiz issue, but I have not seen this issue on my dual
screen setup, nor I have seen other users reporting an issue like this.

Don't create windows over
I would argue that this is really fixed for the bug at hand. The bug
*only* specifies changing the keyboard layout in the lockscreen and does
not specify that the newly selected keyboard layout should carry over
back into the session. I'd even argue that the original keyboard layout
in the
301 - 400 of 652 matches
