Note that if you adjust the volume via the hardware buttons, the
indicator visibly changes, but the volume does not.
Also note that after removing the earbuds, the sound indicator works as

no longer animated in a smooth way. For example:
1. Open an app
2. Use the power button to screen blank
3. Turn on the power button
4. swipe the launcher in from the left
5. Click the Home (Ubuntu Logo)
