Could this be a duplicate of
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/887821? That one
seems to recently have gotten a fix (although that is probably not yet
released to 13.10)?

Right clicking on Nautilus, and then on the "Show Copy Dialog" entry
also doesn't do anything. It is still copying though, as I can tell from
hearing heavy activity on the hard disc.

Tried all of the actions mentioned here:

None helped (well, for starters, there isn't a file copying icon in the status
bar), but the other two also don't work.
Also wmctrl -R didn't help, all it did was make nautilus windows
completely invisible
still happens on ubuntu 13.10...

For me this happens with self-created .desktop files in
~/.local/share/applications.

I can confirm that the statement given by Stephen above returns true for me.
Is there a workaround for this? Any more information I can provide
