Hi Roman, unfortunately the old patch breaks typing for users using
Shift_L, Shift_R or Shift_L+Shift_R for layout switching, otherwise we

(don't remember). Some Super+* hotkeys are working, for example Super+W.

easily add tag "all future Ubuntu releases". Bugs doesn't disappear if

I am using Hebrew layout on Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu Gnome 14.04. The bug
exists on both. The only workaround I found was to change the Hebrew

I have the other bug in Inkscape - hotkeys are working only in russian layout.
Very annoying!
Is there any bulletproof solution? Any kind of drums/dances
Fix doesn't fix anything. If app was started with russian layout -
hotkeys doesn't work, even change layout to english. I use 14.04 with
newest updates, and problem still exist now (2014/07/28). Only solution
for now is to start all apps with english layout or keep different
layouts for every app

and then restart unity-settings-daemon

Actually they live in parallel realities, so switching of layout and
indicator are in sync only if you use the same layout in all windows (I

I think that we have here a derious regression no matter what we choose
to do, because non-latin hotkeys were usable in previous versions of
Gnome. But I also think that users of apps like Eclipse and JetBrains
are programmers who rarely have to use non-latin languages, while users
of LibreOffice

I have tried to remove ppa with ppa-purge utility, and hotkeys starts work in
latin layout, but stops in non-latin (RU) layout.
Then I hev tried to add ppa again, and situation became inverted: latin layout
