Does anybody have any experience with it? Good? Bad? Ugly? If
Byterunner is not good, is there a better one? I need to hook up an
MFJ-1278B TNC so I can get back on RTTY. My computer only has one
serial port, and it's being used by the radio.

I have the same problem and have been told there are good software programs
for RTTY that use the PC's soundcard and don't require a TNC. Anyone have
any thoughts? Apparently some of the RTTY soundcard programs are free. I am
already using the Dx4win Psk-31 program through my old Dell

I do not use a TNC, but use DX4WIN with MMTTY, and cross-connect the two
programs using the free null modem software utility from MixW [two virtual
comm ports talking to each other just like hardware comm
Are you using the latest version? I saw a note in the \DXTelnet\DX4WIN
directory that the older versions only supported one direction data flow
but the new version of DXTelnet sends and receives data to from
DX4WIN. The directions for setting up DXTelnet and DX4Win are
in that same directory.
Yes, MMTTY is very good and free.
