Jim,
Sorry, cannot help with the Ten-Tec question, but why capital K
for the kilo prefix? The world-wide SI standard is kHz, not
KHz. The same goes for the azimuth/distance field. It must be
km, not Km.

You are right... but why? MHz/GHz/THz vs kHz has never made sense to me

Maybe because K stands for a factor 1024 in computerese? Just a

Pete,
a small m is for mili .. 1/1000, like miliwatt, milimeter. The capital M is for
mega.
As for units, those names derived from real names are abbreviated in capital,
but
when written it´s in small letters.
So, 1 V / 1 volt , 1 W, 1 watt
But 1m for meter, because there was no Mr. Meter. :)

Hello All,
Need some suggestions !
Since DX4win provides the possibility to rotate antennae, how to rotate my
antennae with the following ingredients?
-Yaesu rotor G-2000RC, and no more physical remote box available ( only the
PCB is still alive).
-ARS EA4TX (xp ) board
Has anyone running a Ten-Tec Orion seen this problem? It looks to be
sporadic, so it's probably hard to debug. And he upgraded to an Orion

error syndrome changed.

Yes, this has been reported on here. It's a bit frustrating. I have
reverted to updating the QSL flag 'manually' for the time being.

I was just playing with my FT-1000D and noticed that
the FREQ block lists the frequency of the sub-receiver!

This happens when clicking on a spot with QSX frequency listed.
The split box in the Radio Frequency Control box is checked.
