[Dx4win] DXCC Progress - Op mistake or bug ?

2011-03-31 Thread Thomas Herrmann
Hello DX4Winners, just recognised after DXCC Progress analysis the log file is shown only up to set last filter date, instead of full log. Even after closing the log file and open it for new or Cancel Filter, the filter is still active. To view full log, I had to analyse DXCC Progress with

[Dx4win] One Click Setup

Wanted to share something I found. A neat little program that enables me to load DX4WIN, setup a cluster connection, set logging for real time, etc. all with just a click (actually a double-click) of ye ole ham mouse. It is called Do It Again. Basically, it will memorize your mouse clicks and

[Dx4win] Skins

2011-03-31 Thread ALAN ZACK
I updated from ver 8.04 to 8.05 a little while back. After using Jim's Excellent ADIF to DX4WIN conversion pgm to import my N1MM WPX SSB log I started doing a little experimentation. I changed some fonts to the same as Jim uses which I do like better. But I was disappointed that 8.05 still has the

Doubt it will ever work. Paul explained some time back that the skins was a third-party add-on he purchased but when he tried to get technical help no one would reply. Doesn't look promising ;-) However, the problem you are describing isn't the problem I remember, it was an issue with window

[Dx4win] merge question

2011-03-31 Thread Steve K7AWB
A friend has his DX4WIN log which may be missing several thousand QSOs due to an error in a previous competitive program (made before the transfer to DX4WIN as the new main logging program now). I have a special adif download from LOTW which may include those missing QSOs. How can I merge the

Steve, Wow! I had the same problem when I switched to DX4WIN in January. The Freeware software dumped the oldest QSO when I made a new entry. Thanks to LoTW I was able to recover the whole thing. First start with a new log file and then import all those LoTW files into it. After you are
