I'd get with someone who has a 7300 hooked up to DX4WIN (and the 7300 is a
VERY popular radio, so there has to be LOTS of folks with that
combination!) and compare configs. That said, does your radio really
support that baud rate of 115200? Mine does NOT, It only goes up to 38400..
And again, my setup (which of course is different, because it's for a Yaesu
FT DX 3000....but some things remain constant between most radios/comm
ports/software logging apps) makes me wonder where you got some of the
numbers/config.Where did you get that address of 94 hex? Does your poll
rate (5000) match the poll rate in your radio menu? does your baud (115200)
match on ALL THREE PLACES: radio menu, DX4WIN (we see that it is what that
is set to) and also on the port on your laptop/computer? the key is
EVERYTHING has to match....the settings in the radio menu....the settings
in DX4WIN....and any settings on the port you are attached to on the
computer/laptop. I'd check ALL three places...that things like baud rate,
comm port, poll rate (only applies to the radio and DX4WIN....not the
computer port), DTR, RTS....are all set to the SAME THING. For instance, my
radio requires RTS to be set to HIGH. And mine requires NOTHING to be
configured in the Address (where you have 94 Hex). Mine will only go to
38400.....and i have all three places set to 38400....the radio (via the
menu option), the port on the laptop AND DX4WIN (in preference). All three
places have to match...and can only be set to a rate that all three places
support.

Forgive me if the above was to "obvious", but I've learned in trouble
shooting over 40 years in the comm/IT business (and often...like this
case...with the proverbial "3000 mile screwdriver" as we say in the
business, because I'm not there to physically see your setup)...never
assume anything, no matter how obvious it may or may not be to one person
or the other! Again, get someone with a 7300 on the DX4WIN forum to share
settings.........or check the things I mention.
