This sometimes happened to me when I do an ADIF contest log input to LOTW and then download my latest updated LOTW QSO info back into DX4WIN. What appeared to happen is after doing the LOTW download/inputs my latest DXL file got saved into whatever contest folder I took the contest ADIF from to do
