It Seems to be an error, here's what i found in the user guide:
The summary windows are always up-to-date. When adding, updating or
deleting QSOs, there is no need to refresh the display. The current
band/mode obtained from the QSO Window is indicated by a box around the
status.

Just upgraded to 8v03 and got everyting to work ok, however ...
when changing band or mode in the QSO window, the change is not marked
correctly in the Country Window (DXCC) ... If you type something in the
Call field the black square suddenly jumps to the correct place in the
matrix. This
