After reading Ron and Alan's posting this morning regarding the default
filters for Orion rigs, I decided to figure out why DX4WIN always selects
filter 2 in my Icom 756 Pro II and III when clicking on spots. For those who
have posed that same question here on the reflector, here's the answer:

Using Notepad, open "\RADIOS\ICOM 756 Pro.rig" and make the following change
under the heading [RC-Set Mode]:

DEFAULT - invokes filter 2:
    CSTR=060002FD

For filter 1:
    CSTR=060001FD

For filter 3:
    CSTR=060003FD

Subject: [Dx4win] Awards
Message-ID: <!&!AAAAAAAAAAAYAAAAAAAAAKRm+JbOr6VMvc/[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I had been looking through my log and it had assigned the wrong information
for awards, like WAS etc. I went and change the preferences and cleared all
the awards submissions.

Is there a way to have the program go back through the log and check for
contacts that apply to my new preferences or do I need to go through all of
them manually?

I could not find a way and I am thinking I will have to do it manually. I
have version 4.06.

Thanks for your help.
