I reported this 3 years ago in June 2004 and it has been reported by others meanwhile. A very troublesome bug and really needs a fix finally.
Pressing Remove Duplicate QSLs does not actually Remove Duplicate QSLs if the QSL Date has been set or Confirmed label has been set to Y for a QSO of the same band/mode combination. The label can be Y for the same QSO even where a QSL DATE has been set and it still does not turn it to N. The help file says: ***** Remove duplicate QSLs The print flag will be cleared for all duplicate QSOs. A QSO is considered a duplicate when another QSO can be found that is for the same callsign, band and mode and when that QSO is confirmed, a label will be printed, or a QSL label was printed already. ***** So it only works in the 2nd case: when "label will be printed" but not in the remaining two cases. Maybe Mailed Cutoff is not working properly but it also does not take the Confirmed status into account. The help file is clearly incorrect now and causes confusion. And this otherwise nice feature turns useless and also turns the MARK QSOs GOING... button useless as you cannot eliminate Duplicates after using it. I have not seen any comment on this yet but I truelly hope this could be addressed finally. Paul do you have any ideas on that? 73 Tonno ES5TV
