Hello DX4WIN-ers,
I installed Windows XP today and have the following problem: computer does
not see the radio on port 4 (it is on add PCI card). But other software
(WriteLog and MMTTY) works right and I can control the radio via COM 4.
Next, when I press F9 key (even if radio is desabled in
Try turning on the Packet Cluster Beep command. Type Set/beep to turn it
on, or Set/nobeep to turn it off. Additionally, the use bell command in
DX4WIN packet 1 preferences must be checked.

I lost mine recently as well. I changed to a faster computer and I thought
that was the problem. Anyway, the new computer has a nice set of speakers,
so I just changed to voice announcements. They work. Interestingly, the
system beep still works for alerts other than for new countrys.Maybe when we
Test, none of my posts are posting!!!

Has anyone successfully set up the Rigblaster Plus as the radio/computer
interface for using the DVK functionality of DX4WIN ver 10.29 ? I have the
FT1000MP MK5 and a computer with 1 serial port available. I have come
close but pressing function keys to send a message does not key the radio.
OOPS - this posting was really meant for the Writelog mailing list - just
