Joe,
I believe you need a level converter for the Icom radios, eg. CT-17 CI V
level converter.

For the past three days I have been getting double spots and double voice
announcements.
It's pretty annoying.
Until now I have always gotten only 1 spot even when there are several sources.
I've made no change in preferences.
My spots come in from two streams. Two meter packet and an internet
Thanks to Jim, N7US, all is working fine now.

My FT-1000MP is in for repairs. In the meantime I am setting up an IC-756

If you use DX4WIN for tracking DXCC totals, I wonder how you handle this
situation:
A DX station (new country) was worked in 1973 on 40M CW. The station is
credited by ARRL for the mixed DXCC, but not CW DXCC as the cutoff for CW
DXCC is 1975. So the question is: how to mark the QSO so that
Floyd;
I have been a Ham since 1953 and have a LOT of pre 1975 cards. I have
complained about this problem before and I guess there isn't enough
interest in fixing this (it would take a couple of lines of code to fix)
The way I get around this problem to create a group for all cw QSO after

Down at the bottom of the QSO window (you may have to hit F5 multiple times
to expand the window) are the award settings for that QSO. Set the mixed
DXCC to Chkd and the mode to --. I think that should do what you want.

Terry, that won't do it. --
I am thinking of purchasing a qsl database like Buckmaster Hamcall or Flying
Horse Callbook. I see that some logging programs interface with Buckmaster
via the internet instead of having to buy a CDrom.
Does DX4Win do this or does it need the CDROM?
Also, does anyone have any feedback on if
Nope. The listing will still show the CW QSO as confirmed. I want it to
show as unworked.

I also asked about this several years ago; however, it really did not turn
out to be much of a problem.
Initially, I selected the valid qso's for submittal. The very few that were
left were then simply marked as invalid and in the notes as invalid for CW
DXCC.
My cw qso's went back to 1955 and
Hi all,
Has anyone tested the various power levels to see what they actually are? I
know that 'H' is full power (100W) and 'L' is qrp (5W). Are the other ones
just an interpolation or do they have set levels? The documentation doesn't
really specify this.

OK, that will definitely not work my way. Seems like groups are your
only choice. But then that precludes you from using groups to separate
contest Qsright?
