Trying to import an adif report from the arrl Lotw, the first time i did this everything checked out fine and Dx4win tracks my Lotw stuff excellent, now i am trying to update my latest confirmations following the same instructions as i did the first time, i have my adif reports from the arrl which i have opened and confirm they are all there 100% but my problem is Dx4win won't read them when i try to import? Using Imported QSO sets Upload Confirmed Flag ! Is there anything i may have overlooked? Strange as it worked fine originally anyone have any suggestions? After some head scratching i appear to have loaded the new adif in, In prefrences/qso i had the "Upload Conf" selected while i was trying to import the adif with no luck i changed this prefrence to "Card or Upload" and Dx4win accepted it! Is this normal? i would have thought it really shouldnt make any diffrence what i had selected. I still can't figure out why after you enter the Q you have to then save it. Why doesn't it save with the enter. And, there has to be a better way to enter in a Q in the window that would prevent me from doing what I just did. -- Tnx es 73 Dick W7ZR From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 28 15:41:27 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Sauvageot Christoph) Date: Thu Jul 28 15:41:56 2005 Subject: AW: [Dx4win] Did It Again! When you hit ENTER, the QSO is saved, and you get a clean slate for the next QSO. What you describe is over-writing an existing QSO. Always use F9 to start logging a new QSO if you are not sure where you are. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 28 17:59:16 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Jim Reisert AD1C) Date: Thu Jul 28 17:59:03 2005 Subject: [Dx4win] Did It Again! If DX4WIN crashes, when you restart it will prompt you to recover the backed-up log. The only time you are truly vulnerable is when the backup timer is RED. Do not walk away from the computer without saving your log first (ALT-S). 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jul 29 09:23:21 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Bob Naumann - W5OV) Date: Fri Jul 29 09:22:49 2005 Subject: [Dx4win] Kenwood TS480 support?
