[Dx4win] Packet Window/Dx Spots Window
I can move these two windows around, overlay them with other windows etc.. BUT I cannot remove them...They are always there when I start DX4WIN. Anyway to remove them?? ..bring them up ONLY when I want them.. I have posted the initial release notes for DX4WIN.CTY Release #28: http://www.ad1c.us/dx4win/history.htm#28 I hope to release it in the next week or so. There are still some things missing from the web page: - more information about JH1MAO/JD1 - some more QSL manager cleanup Note that the temporary URL for IOTA OC-270 is: http://www.rsgbiota.org/members/searchref.php4?getref=OCX911 Please send me any callsign exceptions or QSL corrections you may have. John, Google QuickMix. It does what you are looking for. 73, Ed K3IXD Date: Thu, 9 Mar 2006 17:29:37 +1300 From: John Shaw [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Dx4win] Volume control settings To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Is there a way to store and some how bring back volume control settings? For example I use AFSK for RTTY and it is a bit of a pain setting the levels each time as invariably they are not the same as settings for other activities on the computer. Was thinking there must be a utility program that will allow these to be stored and retrieved for different activities. Frigging with those silly sliders is a royal pain when there is some interesting DX to work. 73 John ZL1BZ.
[Dx4win] How to clean Upload Date field?
Hello, fellows! How can I clean Upload Date field for LoTW? An ADIF file was created some time ago (just for testing) and I was so stupid to save changes. If I'll do it manually for each QSO, it will take too much time! Regards, Mike RL3BM

Hi all that have suggested QuickMix. I shall check it out. Your responses were just what I was looking for, I think so far 3 have responded with QuickMix that is a pretty good indication that it is on the money for what I need. 73 John ZL1BYZ. PS. [Dx4win] How to solve my problem!
Hi again! I'm still don't know, what to do. The Upload Date field in my log is not empty. I still can't edit it (but manually for each QSO). Moreover, I can't export another ADIF file for LoTW. If I trying to do that, I see the message Export finished No QSO written. Now what? If I will export ADIF file via File-Import/Export menu, will be this file compatible with LoTW? Regards, Mike
[Dx4win] How to solve my problem!
Mike, Just reset the upload flag to Y for the QSOs you want to upload. When you do the upload, the date will change to the new date. 73, Les -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Mike Bondarev Sent: Thursday, March 09, 2006 3:58 PM To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] How to solve my problem! QSO - Multiple QSO Operations - Set Upload Date. Just clear it out so it's empty. Then OK. 3. Labels - Clear Upload Flags. Answer YES. Now you should have a pristine log where neither the upload flag nor the upload date for any QSO is set. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 9 19:59:48 2006 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (ki4fyr) Date: Thu Mar 9 20:01:24 2006 Subject: [Dx4win] CD data bases Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Does anyone have any recommendations as to a good CD to purchase to use as a call sign data reference source, data can be copied to hard drive?
