Worked just fine here too, But...
I lost my Windows Scripting mechanism which is required by DXLab
when I installed or un-installed the Visual Studio module.

Subject: RE: [Dx4win] Consolas font - an experiment
Worked for me - thanks!

Can someone who does *NOT* have Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
installed (but does preferably have Windows XP installed)
please try
the following experiment? I just don't have time to try
it myself.
Download and install one of these packages:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/downloads/
They are free (limited) versions of Microsoft Visual Studio.
After installation, see if the Consolas font is available to
DX4WIN.
If not, try downloading and installing it from here:

If it won't let you install the Consolas font package, you're done.
If you were allowed to install it, check again to see if the font is
available to DX4WIN.
Finally, uninstall the MS Visual Studio package you
installed. See if
the Consolas font is still available (and functioning).
Please report your results to the reflector.
Thanks 73 - Jim AD1C
