[Dx4win] DX4WIN.TCP updated 16 January 2009

2009-01-16 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
DX4WIN.TCP is the list of Telnet DX Cluster nodes. If you don't use
the latest file, you may find that some nodes are unreachable.

I updated DX4WIN.TCP on 16 January 2009. The latest file can be found at:

Please read the installation notes on that web page if you require the

The CQ DX Marathon is an annual recognition issued by CQ Magazine. It
is the sum total of the number of different entities, plus the number
of CQ zones, worked in a given year.

This conversion program reads an ADIF log and writes a comma-delimited
spreadsheet that can be copied/pasted into the official CQ
Scoresheet.

Yes, I have with no trouble. You will need to get a Mac supported USB-
serial adapter. I use Keyspan products which are very dependable on
both Mac and WIndows.

[Dx4win] Problems Printing QSL label

2009-01-16 Thread Don
I am trying to update from 7.02 to 7.07.
I have installed 7.07 in a separate directory from 7.02.
Everything seems to work except printing QSO labels.
The format of the label looks OK, however when I try to print a label I get
no qso info on the label (no contact info or QSL via Manager, not even the
call sign. It appears that it is not getting the qso data from the log.

I noticed in 7.07 that is an additional option. One is Print QSL Manager
Labels and the other one is Print via manager.)

Which one corresponds to Print QSL managers) in 7.02?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello Isidro,

DX4Win works fine on a MacBook using VMWare Fusion. I use it since
last summer without any problem.

Just as an aside, I never tried any real functionality but DX4WIN will
install and come up under Codeweaver's Crossover (which is a
commercial version of wine). I have no idea if the serial ports work,
etc. but its another option.
