the import aborts because of duplicate QSO's.

Hi Mel
To understand the problem, try the following :
1) Stop Radio
2) In QSO Window Press F9
3) Enter a callsign e.g. VE2DC (with band/mode = 160CW)
4) Now, in QSO Windows, change band/mode to 10SSB
The black Box in Country window should now jump to 10CW But the Country

I've run into the same issue with grids on VHF with an older version...
I just changed the times so they are a couple of minutes apart.
I guess Paul hasn't fixed this yet. Dupes should also check County/Grid,
Sounds like it might be fairly easy to fix... unless time is the primary

I run into this with every QSO party that has county line operations. I
just go into the ADIF and add 30 sec to the second QSO. Unless you have
a bunch to change it's not a big deal.

Hi Art,
How did you log the call and QTH? What version of DX4WIN are you using?
If the QSOs are the same *except* for the County, I believe that
DX4WIN 8.0x will NOT think they are duplicates.
Have you tried running this program on your log to convert the contest
abbreviations to real ADIF
Hi Jim,
Logged as 2 QSO's. But with different reports representing the county's.
K7ZX sitting on the county line...
Using 8.01.. Did the County conversion program. Same results.
Never had this happen before because in a contest when I am in a run
mode I always work dupes. Contest software
This duping problem was fixed in 8.03 (from the release notes):

· Include state/county when checking for duplicate QSOs
Can you please download/install 8.03 and see if the problem goes away?
You can install it into its own directory and it won't affect your
8.01 setup.

Should also check grid... perhaps Paul could fix this.

I'm not sure that grid lines count for VUCC. I think you have to be
INSIDE the grid. I've never heard of a rover operating from a line,
but I could be wrong (it wouldn't be
Thanks Jim. I had not noticed that in the release notes. I had just
been proactively changing the time in my logs before importing. I'll
skip that next time and see what happens.

Hi Jim,
Grid boundaries are allowed, but the rules are a bit excessive (my opinion).
See
http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Awards%20Application%20Forms/VUCCRULE1a.pdf .
I did this a couple times last summer and actually posted little movies of
my set up and zooming in to the GPS showing the XX.000
OK, I was thinking of a VHF contest (which is really the only time log
import would become an issue), and did find this rule, which would
seem to prohibit grid-line operation in all ARRL VHF contests (50 MHz
and above):

They don't. But I have worked two grids within a minute and had DX4Win
reject the imported qso as dupe... probably because the QSO was within
one minute and the resolution was to one minute.

Greetings to you all,
When I import an ADIF file from N1MM after a contes, I always get the
frequency in it's field but also rx frequency in the note for this qso
field. Is it possible to remove this note in all QSOs in a simple maner?
Sometimes I work without the computor connected to the rig.
It sounds like N1MM exports both the FREQ and FREQ_RX fields, even when
the QSO is simplex (i.e. the latter is not needed).
You would have to go into the ADIF file, find all the FREQ_RX fields
(both name and value) and completely delete them. May not be so easy.
I'll see if I can add this to
