[Dx4win] export in Cabrillo format

2010-11-29 Thread george
I worked the CQWW contest this week-end using DX4WIN latest version. How do
I export my log in Cabrillo format as CQ wants it using DX4WIN export? I
only see it exporting in everything else but.

Thanks.

Export in ADIF. Then use the ADIF2 CABR converter you can download from:

Did you merge it in the correct order? You have to merge your OLD
file into the NEW file. This involves moving things around. Read the
instructions on the web page.

[Dx4win] VC2A - CQ Zone 5 (2010)

2010-11-29 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
VC2A was used in both CQWW Phone and CW contests from CQ Zone 5. See:

http://www.qrz.com/db/VC2A

It had been used in 2009 CQ WPX CW from Zone 2. There will be a new
entry in the country file to fix the zone for 2010.

I did not notice this previously because I did not work the station in
the phone portion of CQWW, and no one else reported the error to me.

Re: [Dx4win] VC2A - CQ Zone 5 (2010)

2010-11-29 Thread ALAN ZACK
Yeah, I missed zone 2 this time. VE2GSO and VE2IM were zone 2 for the CQWW
SSB. AFTER the contest ended I went to DX SUMMIT and discovered VE2XXA/2 was
the only spot for zone 2 in the CQWW CW. Guess I never heard him anywhere
because I was listening to the VE's to see what zone they were giving out
looking for a zone 2.

Re: [Dx4win] export in Cabrillo format

2010-11-29 Thread Dave Perry
George,

Another option is to export out of DX4WIN in ADIF format. Then import into
another contest logging software like N1MM (you can download it for free).
You have to create a new log in N1MM for the CQ WW CW test and then do the
import of the ADIF file from DX4WIN. Once you have the QSOs in N1MM, you
can then do an export in the Cabrillo format.
