[Dx4win] DX4Win v8.05
Since I updated to 8.05 a few days ago, DX4WIN only logs psk31 in the mode field if I set the radio to LSB. If I set the radio to USB it logs the call as SSB. In the previous version (8.04) it would log the calls as psk31 when using either LSB or USB, which was good. Does anyone else have this problem? I am using the Yaesu FT450. It used to follow my radio mode perfectly, now if does the following: FM logs FM in the mode field AM logs AM CW logs CW USB logs SSB LSB logs SSB LSB/data logs PSK31 USB/data logs SSB LSB/data logs RTTY whereas before the upgrade in LSB/data and in USB/data it would log PSK31 in the mode field. Hi I have win7 hr . When I run update from dx4win die I get a window saying, could not create update directory. Sounds like a file permission problem. Change you change the file permissions of the DX4W503 directory so that anyone can write it? If you still have the 804 installation go to subdirectory radios and copy ft450 file to your new directory. If it worked in previous version should work for the new also. Also if you are in expert mode in dx4win you can edit Radios database. Maybe if you play with the values under mode you can have what you want. Good Luck. Hi Bob, Where did you get the FT450b file ?
