[Dx4win] Challenge Spots

2011-11-07 Thread Hugh Valentine
I have tried most everything I can think of to solve this, maybe someone can
help me.

I am interested in seeing only NEW or Unconfirmed Band spots in my Packet
Screen window.

Somehow I have not figured out how to do this. I keep getting new Band Mode
Spots in with my needed to confirm Band spots for the Challenge. These
clutter my screen as I am mostly CW and there are a lot of SSB (Mode)Spots
coming through, event though I have confirmed the country on CW on that band.
If it is a new Band country I need to work or confirm, I don't mind the
Spot(Mode) as if I work it I get Challenge credit.

How and can I accomplish this?

Thanks for any insight. 73

Re: [Dx4win] Challenge Spots

2011-11-07 Thread John, K9EL
I would add my name to the list of requestors for the ability to change the
order of priorities in Packet2. For example, I just started chasing RTTY
countries, so that mode is not confirmed on any band with any country. But
if a DX spot appears for a country that I have worked on one band, but not
on another band, it still is always priority 4. Since I know it will be
awhile before I get the confirmations, I would love to temporarily swap
priority levels 4 and 5.

Yes you have right. This way (deactivating ssb) you will not see an ssb qso

you need for a band slot.
I don't know a solution. I didn't undertand it ok.
You want ssb qsos but only for new band slots not for new mode. Beside this
the most important is that dx4win gives priority to the mode and not to the
band. If a qso is new mode (ssb) and new band also, you will see new mode
(not interesting for you) but there is no way to know that is a new band.
So you need to change priorites.
I don't think this can be done but it's useful for sure.

Paul, can we define cluster priorities in the next version? For example if i

need the new band to be number 2 and new mode a grey spot, etc...
