It's fairly straightforward.
1, On your old PC, run DX4Win and save your preferences as an .INI
file: File/Preferences/Write INI file. Save
I have installed DX4WIN, Ver 8 on my Dell Laptop. Everything is working except
the Packet Window and the World Map Window.
For some reason I cannot open the Packet Window or the World Map Window. I
have it loaded on my Desktop Computer and it works fine.
Can anyone give me any suggestions

I updated the master callsign database for DX4WIN. You can download
it from here:

Better yet, use the DX4WIN Data Updater:

This database is based on the Super Check Partial database released 18
November 2012.
