Is there a program that will allow me to input my friends paper logs into,
say a pre set-up Excel 2010 and then convert it to ADIF for DX4WIN
importing.
I'm trying to convince him to get into this century. :)
Thanks

There's better solutions than Excel - ideally you want something
George, why not just have him key them into DX4WIN directly? Same number of
keystrokes, one step?

If you can export to ADIF from LogWindows it is an easy import. Jim (AD1C)
can usually look at the format (from a file or sample file) and write a
converter (if he has not already done one). Give it a day or two and I
would expect he would reply with some good idea. Dan KI6X

Thanks, Dan.
I just got back into being active in ham radio a few weeks back, and I got a
new copy of DX4Win. I'm not familiar with ADIF. I'm still learning DX4Win.
Like it so far, though. I have most all of my earlier logs in LogWindows,
all my DXCC records ( over 325 countries) in Log Windows,
Basic Log as found on the ARRL web site is actually a spreadsheet but is set up
to capture QSO data. Works well if you need to do that kind of thing. Gives
you an ADIF file if you want.
Instructions:
Charlie,
The on-line help (F1) has an entry for importing LogWin logs.
