Re: [Dx4win] T-QSL ver 1.14.1
That's an indication that something is wrong with your duplicates database. To fix this, open up Windows explorer, and type %AppData%\TrustedQSL in the address bar. Don't include the quotes, but do include the percent signs. delete all of the log.* and db.* files from that folder. The most likely cause of this is running TQSL as adminstrator or as some other user. Taking ownership of those files will fix that case. 73, -Rick On Sat, Jun 1, 2013 at 5:03 AM, Erkki Heikkinen erkki.heikki...@pp.inet.fiwrote: Just installed the new version from LoTW. Re: [Dx4win] T-QSL ver 1.14.1
You probably don't have permission to create the required files for the database. If you take ownership of the TrustedQSL folder, then TQSL should be able to create the required files. What version of Windows are you running? One of the fixes that I'm going to be making for TQSL 1.15 will provide more detail as to why the database could not be created. Once that's available, I'll contact you to try a test release if you don't mind. 73, -Rick On Sun, Jun 2, 2013 at 5:16 AM, Erkki Heikkinen erkki.heikki...@pp.inet.fiwrote: ** Tnx Rick, There are no log.* or db.* files in the AppData\TrustedQSL folder. [Dx4win] Problem filtering some spots into Talk Messages window
I'm trying to use the Warning patterns on the Packet 2 tab of preferences to filter certain spots into my Talk Message and Announcements window. This is the pattern I'm looking for (it's in the last of the 5 slots): DX DE W6RK* Here is an example spot: DX de W6RK: 14336.0 AC0HWdUTCHESS, ny SSB 1539Z It's not working, nothing is showing up the other window. Any ideas/suggestions? It's possible that DX4WIN intercepts all DX spots before they can get checked by these patterns. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] LoTW problem v 1.14.1
First time to try LoTW TQSL v. 1.14.1 I have tried two times to up load a file to LoTW. I get the following message Your message did not appear to have a TrustedQSL file attached to it. DX4WIN is latest 8.xxx version. Both mail show the LoTW file attached. Here is what I did. In DX4WIN made a ADIF file (ks0m149).ADI and saved it in my C:\LoTW file . Opened TQSL - File - Select file to sign and upload ADIF or CABRILLO file. Selected the ks0m149.ADI file in C:\LoTW The file (C:\lotw\ks0m149.ADI) will be signed and up loaded using Station loc = Fulton Call=ks0m, DXCC= USA Is that correct - yes. I thought then the file was automatically up loaded. It apparently was not sent. I then opened a e-mail addressed to LoTW and attached ks0m149.ADI (in my C:\LoTW file) and sent to ARRL LoTW as usually done. Did this twice and both were rejected. What did I miss or doing wrong?
