Re: [Dx4win] Win 7 64 or 32
You might want to consider the device driver. In my case the device driver for the IC-7410 works under W7 32-bit, but won't work under W7 64-bit. No mention of that on Icom's web site. Generally there are stricter requirements for the 64 bit device driver programmers over the 32 bit version. [Dx4win] DX4WIN.AWD award database release 3.41 - 6 April 2014
I have updated the DX4WIN.AWD file. This release contains 200 awards. You can download it from: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/awards/ But it's easier to use the DX4WIN Data Updater: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/updater The .ZIP file also contains a number of membership list files (plain-text files with a .list extension). These can be used to identify member calls in the DX Spots window. Please read the application note on Membership Lists for more information. You can read the full release notes here: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/awards/index.htm#3.41 Please let me know of any problems, etc. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] DX4WIN Data Updater v. 6.09 released
I've released DX4WIN Data Updater v. 6.09. If you run your current updater, you should get the new one automatically. Or you can download the installation program from here: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/updater/download/dx4wupd_v6.09_20140406.zip This is a relatively minor update: 6.09 - 6 April 2014 Allow Update to be run multiple times in same session Changed color scheme for update progress indicator The full installer is now digitally signed with my name and callsign, so you can tell if it's authentic. If you have any problems with, or questions about the updater, let me know. - Jim -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
