[Dx4win] FT4 import problems
I just did the WWROF digital test using WriteLog (12.42) with DigiWrite (1.1.18). and had import issues into DX4WIN. All of the DigiWrite QSO produced import errors for Submode FT4. Earlier I had imported FT4 QSOs from WSJT-X and had no isssues. WriteLog ADIF: WriteLog 12.42G 20190815 19 14.08000 20m 1 FT4 MFSK KE1VT WSJT-X ADIF: 5B4AMX KM65 MFSK FT4 The difference is that WriteLog puts the Submode BEFORE the Mode. This causes DX4WIN import to fail. You just need to have MFSK marked. If you're importing the ADIF from WSJT-X it'll automatically populate correctly with MFSK in the Mode field and FT4 in the SubMode field. You don't have a "problem", you are just not going far enough in the process. The DX4WIN "Export to LOTW" does not actually export the file to Logbook of the World. All it does is create an .ADIF file on your computer. That .ADIF file must then be authenticated using the TQSL program with your certificate and THAT does the actual upload to LOTW. So, if you are fortunate enough to still have those .ADIF files in your Documents, then authenticate them one by one with TQSL and correctly upload to LOTW. [Dx4win] upload to LoTW problem from DX4WIN
Back in June 2019 I started playing with WSJT FT8 using DX4WIN to up load my QSO files to Lo Today I have discovered ARRL LoTW does not have 498 contacts I thought were uploaded between 29-06-2019 through 14-08-2019. I think I missed something in DX4W that caused this. Here is what I did: Open DX4WIN – LoTW at top of page Left click it – Drop down box , click on “Export to LoTW” . I used an ADIF file in Documents each time when asked for a file. I put the ADIF file from WSJT FT8 into Documents. Don’t remember how I previously uploaded a file. Any help ?
