Re: [Dx4win] Syncing LOTW to Log

Hi,

I have tested the waters and have tried some different logging
programs, but I still prefer DX4Win as far as tracking awards, etc.  I
thought I had found *the* logging software and had moved everything
over, but after trying it for awhile I find it lacking in award
tracking.  I have imported my new log into DX4Win but it isn't even
close to my LoTW records.  I have looked at Jim's excellent utilities
and tutorials on how to sync the data, but it doesn't seem to work.  I
really don't want to go in and manually fix it as I have a lot of
records. Any ideas?

Thanks and 73,

I found the problem with changing the award flags.  I didn't spend
enough time reading through the instructions.  I eventually found I had
to change submitted to checked for all the categories.  I now have the
log updated and matches up with LoTW. I would like to personally thank
Lee, N7NU for volunteering to help me fix the problem I was having.  I
appreciate having the reflector available.  Lots of great resource for
DX4Win users.

Re: [Dx4win] CW cut off frequency

All other major logging programs can deal with that.
Furthermopre, the alerts generated on the cluster spots (color coded)
are wrong, i.e. useless.

Example 20M - 14000 <> 14150 = CW, 14150 <>14350 = SSB
+/- in the middle of CW are all the digital modes, if someone starts cqing
in CW on 14074
He can't be flamed because he is not doing something wrong. Everybody
accepted digital
Mode between +/- 14070 and 14100 but it is no rule, check it out when there
is a major contest.
A worse example is 40M, 7038 for rtty/digital (cw part) and 7074 for
rtty/digital (ssb part)

Am I the only one that is missing an expansion of user settings regarding
CW/SSB/DIGI frequency cut off.

Would be nice if one could define a frequency span (start/stop) for example
DIGI.
