[Dx4win] Rig Control and PSK

2018-01-19 Thread Jon Suehiro via DX4WIN

Dear David, I did not realize the 'Check' on 'Default'.  First I tried as
IC-7851, the control was briefly flashing to the 2nd RX without any reason.
Then I selected IC-7600 98 19200, then working as expected.  Thanks for your
help.  73 OM de NN5T Jon

[Dx4win] Exporting DX4WIN Log File

2012-05-22 Thread Jon
Gentlemen,

I am wanting to export the DX4WIN Log file in a ADIF format

for insertion in another program for testing.

I notice that the default DX4WIN file is a .DXL format.

I am still having Radio Time Out issues and want to use another logging

program for a few days in hopes of isolating the Radio Time out issue.

[Dx4win] DX4WIN Default packet cluster settings

2012-05-04 Thread Jon

Gentlemen,
Is there a way to have the packet cluster start
at a default log on to my favored cluster?

It would be nice feature if it came back
to the same one you were on when it was shut down.
I use primarily only one cluster over and over so a default setting
would be
extremely beneficial.
Having to go through the log on motions each time is a pain.

[Dx4win] DX4WIN and FLEX5000A Radio Time Out

2012-05-03 Thread Jon

I am running DX4WIN v8.05 and a Flex5000A transceiver.
The computer is a quad core 64 running WIN7.
I keep getting the Radio Time Out message. No matter how the
Polling Rate is set or the MAX Tries are set. It is persistant to say the
least..
I will say that after pouring through the threads, I see that there was
a suggestion of setting the max tries to 1, I did so and that seems to
have
helped but the problem still occurs and is really annoying in the heat of a
QSO War!
Any suggestions..HELP !

 Hi Bob,

Version V8 has a LPT driver that is 64bit compatible; version V7 has not.

[Dx4win] upload date

2009-04-07 Thread Jon Kovacs
I have had very few minor issues with LoTW and DX4WIN, and most of those were
self inflicted..

However I was checking the logbook in DX4WIN and I noticed that I have received
a upload date confirmation all along up until last nite after I did a upload
to LoTW. I went to LoTW, downloaded my report to be imported to DX4WIN, but
noticed that I received no upload date in the logbook where I had always
received... I went back to LoTW and downloaded the report again in case I had
made an error, but still no upload date in the logbook in DX4WIN...

I felt that I had followed the directions to the letter, but apparently there
was a letter that I missed ?

Thanks for you help..

[Dx4win] Elusive CAT control

2002-04-17 Thread Jon Nordstrom
HTA

I am using a 1000MP Mk V. Have the radio interfaced with DX4WIN. The
problem is that the CAT control comes and goes seemingly at random
intervals. Have tried different polling speeds and seem to have the best
luck (ie longest time it operated) at 60 Ms. Anybody with a suggestion?

TIA

[Dx4win] Backup to CD-ROM

2002-04-13 Thread Jon Nordstrom
First of all I want to thank all of the people who answered my call for
help in getting the PSK function working.

Now my question. I would like to be able to back up my log files to a
CD-ROM using a CD-RW disk in my M drive which is a CD burner.

Found a small section in the on line help files about a batch file to zip
the files to the A drive but don't even have a clue as to where to place
the batch file or how to modify it to my use.

Would someone please help me on this one?

Thanks in advance

Jon
