You bet, brought this problem with the Deskjet 500 with V.6.03 quite a while
ago and never got a satisfactory answer. Gave up and now use a different
printer, but I sure like my old 500. Maybe your query will get more
attention.
Same error message if memory serves.

How do you turn the packet window off once you turn it on? The X box
doesn't do it.

This occurs using an old HP DeskJet 500 (parallel) printer. It used to print

I give up, I can't get the Group Names to print anymore (used to). Here's
the way I have things set up:
1. Group Numbers and Names are set up with Numbers assigned to names.
2. Group Numbers appear on each QSO (either Group Number, or 001 for all
others).
3. I have the two @@ set under

Select File/Preferences, and select the QSO tab. You get Setup Parameters,
Defaults for new QSO. Select QSO Method and change it in the pull-down
menu and save it.

Wow! And all I was trying to do was print QSL's. Tomorrow, I'll put my
logs back in the 6.02 folder and run .02 and see if I can print.
Thanks anyway, Don W6FFH

Great, now I can't print QSL reports with 6.03. I've transferred my
Preferences and changed nothing in the printer setup. QSL print recognizes
my printer and I show 2 QSLs to print, but I get an exception error
message no matter what I do.
Has anyone else had a print problem?

Thanks, Paul and also Lars, SM4WGB for the answer, I sure overlooked the
obvious. It works fine now

I've assigned group numbers to all my contests in the log and edited the

In the File/Preferences/Rep/Lab I put in the double percent sign (%%) but

Can someone who has exported their log to the ARRL Log Book of the World
describe the sequence they used? I seem to have trouble with exporting the

Don,
Very easy. First, click on File on the Main (not QSO) menu then
Import/Export
the
right thing.
Perhaps I'll have to query the WriteLog reflector and see if anyone is
getting the same results, I know a lot of them are using dx4win.
