The only thing you have to change is the Adress to 64 (and of course the
COM-port if you´re not using serialport 1 on your computer).
Interesting - My address says 00, and it works. I guess that assumes some
default.
Just export an ADIF log using DX4WIN and look at it.

Yep, you have to run Marek's WL2DX4WIN program to convert your WriteLog file
to ADIF for DX4WIN that will import the state info correctly. Marek's
program is available at http://sp7ps.pl/sp7dqr/downloads/wl2dx4win211.zip

After making this change, and customizing
the TQSL program to accept PSK3 for mode PSK31, it went with no hitches!
So how do you do that?

Actually, you can use MMTTY with DX4WIN - See K8UT's docs describing how to

Does anyone know for sure that its safe to simply use the key the IC-706
directly from pin 17 without going through the transistor switch?
1. You can invert the logic by swapping the transistor's base and emitter
leads.
2. Anecdotes that don't necessarily apply to CW keying: I've
You need to tell us more. Do you receive anything?? Can you transmit? How
are you doing PTT? You obviously need audio going from the rig to the
soundcard, and from the soundcard to the rig, and you also need to key the
radio. How are you accomplishing each of these tasks? AFSK or FSK??
I don't think DX4WIN offers that control, does it? It would be a very nice
feature that some ham software is offering.

Thank you to all that replied!!! I originally didn't bother to check my
