[Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY Release #24 - second call
Jim, On 10/7/05 I worked T32S on OC-084. Normally T32 is from OC-024 so not sure if this is a new activation or they are just island hopping. - Original Message - From: Jim Reisert AD1C [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Saturday, October 08, 2005 4:55 PM Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY Release #24 - second call I have updated the release notes for DX4WIN.CTY Release #24: http://www.ad1c.us/dx4win/history.htm#24 This release contains over 750 new QSL manager entries. Some are for contest DX 2x1 and 1x2 callsigns, others for USA 1x1 callsigns. This is in addition to the usual new ones from DX spots. It sounds like the Italians will not be activating any new T32 island groups this year. Please send me any other corrections soon. This release will probably arrive around the end of the month. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.us ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win

Hi Alan, Each DXCC entity that is an island has a default IOTA. There is no way to make this callsign specific. In other words, there is no callsign - IOTA database. If you look at the country database, you'll see it on the first screen. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 11 14:37:47 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (N5TY - Ken) Date: Tue Oct 11 14:37:02 2005 Subject: [Dx4win] FT-900 Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The FT-900 interface to DX4Win appears not to function properly. It attempts to read the radio until it reaches the max try limit and then quits. The FT-900 listing in the radio database states it is untested. The interface works properly with Writelog so hardware should be OK. Has anyone made this interface work?? When I logged T32S it did come up as OC-024 but I changed it to OC-084 as per the operators instructions. I was thinking this was a special trip to OC-084 in reference to your question if the Italian group was going to be activating any new T32 island groups this year. That is, if OC-084 is a new activation or not. No phone number, No online updates, etc. Just a form to fill out for ordering and then wait for delivery by snailmail. (:-( I'll stay with Buckmaster ... 73!
