Re: [Dx4win] Log File Not Being Updated
The .INI file from the old version has the location of the log file *FROM THE OLD VERSION*. It can't predict the future! Just do what Alan N5NA says and you'll be all set. I'll make a note to add something about this to my upgrade application note. 73 - Jim AD1C On Sat, Dec 27, 2008 at 2:29 PM, Bud Governale, W3LL w...@arrl.net wrote: Whenever upgrading, I merge the .ini file from the previous version to the new version. Not being able to use the ini file from the previous version adds a lot of work to the upgrade process. I noticed this happening for at least the last four upgrades in the 7 series. Re: [Dx4win] Log File Not Being Updated
I've had that happen in the past too. Whenever I upgrade I always go to FileInfo. From there you can see which log file is being used. If it's the one in the old directory, just close that log file by going to FileClose, then open the one in the new directory, FileOpen... 73, Alan N5NA Bud Governale, W3LL wrote: Whenever upgrading, I merge the .ini file from the previous version to the new version.
