In File | Database | QSL Managers, find the entry you want to remove, then Control-DEL to remove it. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] Correcting QSL Manager entry in logbook
I'm having a problem with the QSL Manager entry in my log (ver 8.04). After I entered a qso offline I found a qsl manager from the station's qrz.com page. I typed it into the log but I 'fat-fingered' it and got it wrong but didn't notice until after I clicked 'save changes'. Now I'm trying to correct the entry but the program won't let me. I can go to the qso entry box, highlight the manager's call, and delete it. I then hit enter and get the "do you want to save the changes" box. I click 'yes' but the log box doesn't reflect the change. If I switch to another qso and then back, the manager call has not been deleted. I've tried doing a 'file save' after the 'save changes' but that didn't help. I've tried re-starting DX4W after the save but the manager's call is still there. I tried the "update this qso" menu command after erasing the call in the qso box also without success. I went to the database at File / databases / qsl managers (in expert mode) and can find the entry for the station with the bogus manager call I entered, but can't edit it. (The station worked is not in the 'regular' uploaded database. The only entry was my bogus one.) Can't someone explain what I'm doing wrong and how to edit the manage entry in my log (or point me to the page in the manual that explains it. ;>) Thanks, Bill WB2AIV __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
