Have tried everyones' suggestions and not gotten where I would hope. I have no trouble setting up a new log, in this case called WA4BTC.DXL. I can save it and re-open it. But under preferences it still says N4GG and that cant be changed. Is suspect that is locked in via my license? Hal - I believe you are correct. I have many different log files and on the Personal Tab of the Preferences, they all say N7CW. Hi, Hal Well, I just went into my N4BZX log, and it shows K4OTV in the preferences. I also found that it apparently can't be changed - maybe because I purchased DX4win as K4OTV? It's never caused me any problems, either in DX4Win or LOTW. I did import thousands of QSOs from an old N4BZX LogWindows log without any problem.
