Mike W0VTT answered this.
My question is, if you are adding FT4 QSOs to DX4WIN by hand, why? If
you are trying to search for FT4 QSOs instead, then your
FT4 is a sub-mode of MFSK.

Afternoon everyone,
Have had great success with FT4/8, working many new band/modes and
importing into my DX4WIN logbook, HOWEVER, I have noticed that when I
enter a qsl card or LOTW contact, DX4WIN does not confirm the contact as
a Dogital contact. RTTY, yes, FT4 or 8, no
Suggestions?
Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to log FT4 QSO´s. There is apparently no FT4
mode.
What is the official alternative to log FT4 as?
Maybe MFSK or DATA?
Thanks.

I just did the WWROF digital test using WriteLog (12.42) with DigiWrite
(1.1.18). and had import issues into DX4WIN.
All of the DigiWrite QSO produced import errors for Submode FT4. Earlier I
had imported FT4 QSOs from WSJT-X and had no isssues.

I have been using FT8, but have not yet used FT4, as I thought it was
primarily a contest mode, but seems to be being used more generally.
How is FT4 mode handled when imported from WSJT-X? I intend trying it
when the first general release comes out.
