Mike, will see if I get any bites. Thanks, John

...suggest you post this to the DX4Win list as my troubleshooting skills
went out of date years ago but hopefully someone on the list will have
more current skill set. Have you looked at DDutil? This replicates the
CAT port about 6 times and I think the app can even be daisy chained. It
is used extensively with the Flex series of SDR radios.

Mike, well I have posted this on the LP-PAN reflector, and no ideas. I
am using the FT5000 radio with the LPB2 virtual serial port, NaP3,
DX4WIN, and CW Skimmer in that order. I have set up the timing so each
one is longer than the one before it. I am not sure if another Virtual
Serial Port program would alleviate the problem or not. I am using
Win7 64 bit. The problem only occurs when more than DX4WIN is running.

Hmmm... That is certainly an interesting issue you have going there
John. I really don't have any idea as to what the root cause might be
but, with some more detailed observations, someone else on the list
may be able to shed some light on things. I'm thinking the first
things of interest would be what rig, panadapter, etc., you are
running and if there is any consistency in what programs are running
vs when the issue appears. It's not rf getting into things is it
(i.e., happens after or during a transmission) is it?

Good Luck in your quest for answers,

Mike, I don't want it gone, but I am having a polling issue with
the Panadapter I use. Been trying to eliminate causes. Been playing
with the polling numbers on the programs, but still happens. If I
have more than DX4WIN running, then sometimes the mode and band
change in the QSO window and the Freq box also. The radio itself
doesn't change.

So sometimes unless I really pay attention, then the log might have
the mode as RTTY, 20m but the Freq might show 21080 kHz. It will
flip back and forth.

That's what I am getting at.

If you add your log info off line instead of real time you get no
info from the radio.

Not trying to be a smart a.. but people screamed for years to have
the actual frequency appear in the log and, now that it is there,
someone wants it gone.

Anyway you can turn it off so that the Frequency of the radio
doesn't appear?
Thanks, John
