Harry, The suggestions by Joe for a CW interface are excellent.
I use the LPT port on my laptop (Windows XP, CT WIN, DX4WIN), and I have never had a problem. I have experienced issues using the USB to RS-232 converters with some applications, so I'd recommend that you give the LPT port a try. Like Joe, I built the interface (which requires only a couple of components) right into the body of the connector. Good luck ! However, the ADIF spec guys are giving some pushback, since they seem to believe FTSV is used interchangably with ATV. Thus we really have: - ATV (meaning FSTV) - SSTV Does anyone think we really need all THREE modes defined in DX4WIN, or are these two sufficient? 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 7 16:07:17 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Tony Lord) Date: Thu Apr 7 16:06:50 2005 Subject: [Dx4win] labels In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi all, I recently printed off about 900 labels. Un be known to me my printer ran out of "label pages" and 5 pages worth of labels were printed onto plain paper. This equals over 100+ QSO/labels. I then confirmed the labels as printed. Is there any way I can "un do" a batch of labels and reprint them?? Would be interested to hear comments..... 73's de Tony G8DQZ
