[Dx4win] Grids worked/confirmed not showing up in window anymore!

2004-08-05 Thread Lars SM4WGB

Hello Rick
I think, but I am not sure, that the grid window only applies to freq above 30
MHz.
Does that explain your problem?
When I make a dive into my log I find it shows C for confirmed contacts but not
W for worked contacts on 2 meters.

Hi all,

I have noticed (I'm not sure if it has been since 6.03 upgrade or not) that
any grids that I input in the Grid are not showing up as worked/confirmed in
the window that I access by the WindowGrid pulldown.

I know that I have worked some grids and they are not showing up as worked.

If I type in a call that has a grid, it still doesn't work.

Anyone else notice this or that can help point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

[Dx4win] Grids - Problem solved!

2004-08-05 Thread Rick Graham
Hello all,

The problem is solved! What it was (and perhaps it's a 'bug'?) is that if
you have the grids set for 6 characters, it will ignore the 4 character
grids in the exterior grid window!

I use the 6 char grids for UHF work to zero in on a station and 4 character
grids for 6 meters/2 meters.

Thanks all for your suggestions and let me know if you agree that this is a
'bug'.

Rick, you might be able to enter the full 6-character grid in the box, even in
4-character mode. Did you try this?

Dr OMs,

how can I get the QSL date (field Upload Date)
and import the right Grid value into 6.03 when Iam importing the
lotwreport.adi?

The field Cnfm works right, the value is changing from NN to NY (by the LotW
confirmed QSO is accepted)

After importing with File / Import /ADIF / File / Import / lotwreport.adi
the field Upload Date and the Grid are still blank with no dates.

The part of the lotwreport.adi is here:
