Thanks gang! Substituting "Notes" for "Comment" in the ADIF file did the
trick!

Do a Search & Replace on "Comment" and replace it with "Notes". It used
to be just the opposite but I think version 8 switched where those ADIF
fields import.

[Dx4win] Import Question

2010-06-16 Thread Mark K3MSB
I'm running V8.03.

I just imported my ADIF file for the ARRL June VHF contest. The ADIF
"Comment" field is "ARRL June VHF Contest".

After import, the "Comment" fields are placed into DX4WIN's "Notes for this
call" section; I thought they'd be entered in the "Notes for this QSO"
section.

This is a problem. Let's say I work a station whose operator is Tom, and I
enter his name in the "Notes for this QSO" section. I then worked him last
weekend. Now, for all QSO's with this station, the "Notes for this call"
section contain "Tom | ARRL June VHF contest" !

Can't find anything in the Users Guide about this, and there doesn't seem
to be another tag field in the ADIF spec that one can possibly try.
