When you enter a lot of data into the log, there are a few functions in DX4WIN
that make this less painful:
1. You can indicate which fields will be skipped when pressing the tab key
(disabled fields)
2. Date and time or copied from the previous QSO. Use the up/down arrow keys

There is not much flexibility in the ADIF import settings, but it will
enable/disable
the storage of the frequency in the 'Notes for the QSO'.

Sorry, don't know of a way to avoid the obvious. Just finished
about 7200 Q's ... all manually entered from 13 ARRL log books
spanning 1978 to present. Not fun, but the job's done.
Next is my earlier logs/calls going back to 1951 . (;-)

Why bother with the effort of entering the data from your
logbooks into Excel and then moving it into DX4WIN?
It would seem that the effort would be just as well spent on
direct entry into DX4WIN, since you'd be entering the same
data. Unless you have another use for the Excel
