I'm painfully aware of this. I always use the option color countries which
looks better anyway..

[Dx4win] Map color

I'm really happy. I've played with the version 9 for a few days,
so far no problem of any kind. Well, almost, trying to change the map
colors, the water color changes nicely but the land colors option
doesn't change anything, this is an ancient and recalcitrant bug that 
started several versions ago. The default land color is good enough but 
this bug should be smashed out.
