Back before DX4Win had the ability to track and do the LoTW upload, I did my whole log manually. Now, I'm trying to go through and set the Upload flag to "Y" so that I can then set the Upload Date. But, when I follow the instructions posted by AD1C (http://www.ad1c.com/dx4win/#LoTW) I get 3,291 QSO's changed. Now, if I go back and do a select on those with the Upload Flag still set to "N" I get 8,908. No matter what I do, short of changing them all manually, I can not get the flag on those QSO's set to "Y".
Anyone have any ideas how I can set these flags to "Y"? 73 - Ted - W8TTS From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Nov 8 18:23:44 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Date: Mon Nov 8 18:27:33 2004 Subject: [Dx4win] LoTW - what is the "upload date"? and when does it get filled-in? Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Larry, Sounds like you missed one step (and this would have been without a filter, as it involved your entire log the first time, but it also works with and is "necessary" even with a filter set): Labels --> Set upload flags That will set the upload date. The reason that's "important" to you is that later you can filter on that field to find any entries that have not yet been uploaded by doing an F9 search and entering "01/01/1901" in that field. You can still go back and do that now. You just don't have to upload the file to LoTW (obviously). 73, Steve In a message dated 11/8/2004 2:56:29 P.M. Central Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: OK - so I have figured out: the LoTW ADIF extract from DX4win, the ARRL certificates, signing the ADIF file, uploading the file, downloading the matching QSO confirmation results, and importing the results into DX4WIN as "upload confirmed QSOs". I uploaded 15,761 QSOs to LoTW. I got 1,962 upload confirmed QSOs in response. All seems good, except the "upload date" is still blank. Is the upload date supposed to be filled in when I created the DX4WIN extract ADIF file, or does it get filled in when I import the "upload confirmed QSOs"? In other words - it DX4WIN's "upload date" tracking when I _sent_ the QSOs to ARRL's big database, or when I _receive_ a confirmation that one of mine got a match? And... what action on my part actually enters the date? {please don't suggest that I have to hand-enter 1,961 dates... ;-} -larry K8UT
