Exit DX4WIN and re-start. This fixes the WAS listing.

Mike and all,
Thanks for the tips. The archives had the answer! Searching on DC as a state
and changing all instances to MD fixed the issue. Yes, there is an odd
character after WY but the count is now 50!

Hello John,

This has come up a few times before. It usually happens when importing
contest logs that use ARRL sections or Canadian Provinces for multipliers.
Sorry I can't remember the details or the proper cure, but a search of the
reflector archives should yield the answer. There is a way to fix it. GL.

I was looking at my WAS stats for 2018 and the report indicated I had worked
FIFTY ONE states. Thinking that was rather impossible I did a bit of
research and found that an invalid entry had resulted in mystery state #51.
When looking at the WAS report, at the very bottom is the mystery state with
a state name of the letter "C" and the St column has "|l" as the state. It
indicates that it has been confirmed for MIX, PHO & DIG on 160, 80 and 30
but clicking on that "confirmation" results in "no matching QSO found"
response and the entry box is empty except the state "SL" with a red "S". No
matter how I sort the data I can't find this one. Can anybody suggest a way
to repair what apparently is a corrupt database for this single entry?

Thanks, Dave, but this didn't help. Only one call with DC. Even searching
for ?L brought up IL, AL and FL.

John,

This has happened to me before. As I recall, you should try doing a search
of your log for "DC" in the state field. In some contests, those living in
DC can send that as their exchange, and that gets imported into the state
field incorrectly. 73, Dave, N4QS
