It works here, when I added a QSO in off-line mode.

I ran a submission report for the US Islands award and then printed the
report. The header says US Islands Award submission mixed (QSL card) “date”.
USI allows any form of confirmation. QSL, LoTW, eQSL, other (like an email)
or even a report from the POTA site showing the QSO.

Thanks Dave. Yes, I am sure I am using the correct log. I wonder if my
installation was corrupted for some reason. The search just doesn't work
on anything - callsign, mode, QSL flag, etc. I've re-started the program
several times, and I re-booted the PC with no luck.
Does anyone know a way
Aha. That’s exactly what mine does. However I have a pretty large window open
for the bandmap, so I rarely “loose” the red arrow.

I just installed DX4WIN 9.0.5.1221, and I think there may be a problem
with it.
When I do a search, either using filter - search or F8, the search
fails. I know I am trying to search for valid QSOs in my log. I always
get the error window with "no matching QSO found." This only started to
Dick,
Do you have Follow Radio checked at the bottom of the DX4WIN bandmap? You may
have to open the bandmap window all the way from top to bottom so that you can
see the bottom section. When you do that, it should follow your K3. The red
arrow moves up and down as you tune and it
Just open your existing copy of DX4WIN (assuming you have Version 9
installed.) Then click on Help and Check for Updates. The new DX4WIN
executable file will be in the list of files to download. Then click on OK.
It's that simple.

Hi Dave,
Yes it is checked for follow Radio,
The red arrow moves, but disappears from the map, as the map is not moving
anywhere. I have to use the slider to see the red arrow again. Been that wat

I did ask questions then, but never got an answer, or any help.

Dick,
There are a couple ways that I adjust the frequency range to keep the red arrow
visible. First, you can click on the checkmark on the bottom. That re-centers
the bandmap and makes the whole band visible. You can also hit the plus or
minus signs at the bottom until you see the red
Rick,
My F8 search is working fine in 9.05. My log has over 150,000 Qs. Are you
sure you opened your old log? Try going to file, open and selecting your
log from the Save folder within the DX4WIN directory for Version 9.

I must have missed some information about V9.05 somewhere. I can't find a
download link for it on https://dx4win.com. Can someone point me in the
right direction? Thanks.

Rick,
the previous exectable, dx4win.exe, is saved in one of the backup
directories.
I have no idea why an F8 search would behave like this.

the case in version 8, and still is not working in version 9. The radio is a

Thanks, Yes, I do have 9.0.5.1221 across the top.
I closed DX4Win and shut down the computer before going out. When I came
back and restarted DX4Win, it worked OK, so now sorted.

I have just updated to 9.05.
I plan to use FT4 when the general release comes out. I tried entering
a dummy QSO and selected MFSK, I am unable to enter anything in the
sub-mode box.
Is this correct? Or is it that these entries only available when
importing logs?
