Odd. I wasn't running Defender on my XP machine in the shack, so I
installed it. No issues when I start DX4Win. It almost sounds like
DX4Win is trying to reinstall the driver every time it starts.
I wonder if there isn't a registry entry that tells DX4Win that it is
already installed. When you
HI All,
Has anyone tried to get DX4WIN and MMTTY working together in Windows 7 RC
I can get MMTTY to run fine on it's own, but when I try to bring MMTTY
up from within DX4WIN I just get a recurring error message from MMTTY
until I log off Win 7. It says can't update MMTTY.ini or win32 error

Hi all,
I installed the beta version of WINDOWS 7
On one of my 32 bit test computers here.
Installation is slow so don´t panic if it takes a while.
When all drivers etc were installed I also
run as Administrator the latest version of DX4WIN.
No problems were detected.
First run gives the same
Dear All,

a free Windows Vista upgrade voucher, in UK, Vista was launched today (for
business) and will be released in Jan 07 for home use. I am not sure if I
will upgrade straight away, I don't want all the early bugs to

Hi Anders,
I do not think that serial/parallel ports on the motherboard are supported
either. I did not mean to imply that (by omission).

I upgraded my video driver and was experimenting with different
resolutions, upon restarting the program it detected the screen size
and said something about using the default locations.
Well the main logbook, qso, band countries, windows are all gone and I
dont see a way to bring them back...
Paul,
Looks like you are working now on a smaller desktop, and some windows
are off to the side. Check your setting:
File | Preferences | Screen | Leave windows in original position.
Disable this and start DX4WIN again.

I thought to get to grips with some time.
Scenario is this - -

Hi Everyone,
I've been using Dx4win V6.02 for quite a while now on a Pentium II PC loaded
with Windows XP Pro and everything was working fine. Then the PC motherboard
died! So I had the chance to buy a dual pwntium III 600 MHz, 768 Meg of
memory, 80 gig HD made by Dell for a good price. I

That is not true. DX4WIN works just fine with LPT
